Julian Agyeman is Professor in the Department of Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning (UEP) at Tufts University, USA. Agyeman’s expertise and research interests critically explore aspects of the complex and embedded relations between humans and the environment, and the effects of this on public policy and planning processes and outcomes, particularly in relation to notions of justice and equity. He co-founded and is Editor-in-Chief of Local Environment: The International Journal of Justice and Sustainability, and has authored more than 150 publications. Agyeman’s most recent book is Food Trucks, Cultural Identity and Social Justice (MIT Press, 2017).
