Free to Grow, our eighth Forefront Fellowship inspires adults to center young people in the built environment.
Picture what a city would look like if it had been designed with children in mind: children, teens and families in the streets outside of school; multigenerational public spaces. Our Forefront Fellows developed a guide to building that youth-friendly city.
In partnership with DOHMH and NYC Public Schools, Forefront Fellows reimagined public spaces where youth are free to be themselves and live vibrant, healthy lives.
New York City youth need adults to use their power and agency to make a youth-centered city a reality.
