Tanushri Dalmiya is a hyper-urbanist, architect and storyteller - working as a Planner and Urban Designer with WRT where she leads comprehensive plans, federal neighborhood transformation plans and affordable housing strategy across the United States, through a community-first approach. Her work starts at the in-betweens: the sidewalk, the subway and the charged thresholds between destinations, where bodies are most active, hyper-aware and spatially legible. With a Master of Architecture in Urban Design from Harvard University Graduate School of Design, her scholarship focuses on gender, infrastructure of care and the political dimensions of public space - centering populations most routinely rendered invisible by dominant spatial logics and arguing for equitable access to opportunity as a determinant of upward mobility.
