Surabhi is a landscape architect who is passionate about designing meaningful public spaces where people feel connected, comfortable, and inspired. She believes that landscape architects have ability to shape not just the environment but also touch the lives of people who interact with it. She currently works at EKLA in Brooklyn, NY. Her work focuses on equity in outdoor spaces, creating inclusive, engaging landscapes that strengthen community ties, inspire, heal and bring people together. She approaches design with care, curiosity and deep sense of responsibility. She designs through 4 key lenses – functionality, ecological sensitivity, cultural integration and artistic expression.
