Nicholas Mosquera is an urban planner on the Transportation team at Bloomberg Associates, bringing over 15 years of experience to work with clients to hone bicycle- and pedestrian-friendly improvements to roadways and public spaces, build public and political support, and harness transportation data to achieve cities' mobility goals.
Nicholas also co-manages the Bloomberg Philanthropies Asphalt Art Initiative, which helps cities create arts-driven street redesigns that improve pedestrian safety, revitalize public space, and engage local communities. Previously, Nicholas worked at the New York City Department of Transportation (NYCDOT) under Commissioner Janette Sadik-Khan where he helped develop messaging around transformative transportation projects undertaken by the city. With past experience on tactical street designs in Mexico City, he looks forward to again applying these skills to help solve some of the city’s most pressing transportation challenges.
