Matt is an urban planner, designer, and strategist working to make cities better for the people that live in them. Recently, he has advised on the development of major housing plans and policy in New York City and Greater Boston; including efforts to plan for 100,000 new homes in Manhattan and to eliminate historically exclusionary single-family zoning in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Previously, he worked in the NYC Mayor’s Office for Economic Opportunity as well as several nationally-recognized design and architecture firms. Matt has also held fellowships with the Citizens’ Institute on Rural Design, Urban Design Forum, and Center for Urban Pedagogy.
