Masha is primarily a lighting designer for live performance. She has lit theater, opera, dance, and experimental performance across New York City and the world. Outside of the theater, Masha has created lighting installations for Lightscape at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, collaborated with Prodject on events at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art, and co-created the installation Think Tank: Recording in Process as part of the City Artist Corps Grant cycle in 2021. Masha is an adjunct faculty member at The New School for Drama, and is a long-time member of the Sunnyside and Woodside Mutual Aid. She received her MFA from the Yale School of Drama and is a proud member of IATSE Local USA829
