Lauren is a licensed social worker and supportive housing program manager with the nonprofit organization Community Access. She has a unique understanding of intersecting housing and public health crises, informed by her professional background that includes working directly with low-income tenants and providing mental health care to different populations. Lauren aims to ease the barriers to obtaining affordable, safe, and comfortable housing for New Yorkers - from the city’s newcomers to its life-long residents.
