Isil Akgul

Isil Akgul is a designer from Istanbul, Turkey, with a Bachelor of Architecture Degree and a Master of Science in Sustainable Environmental Systems. During her time in New York, she has worked with several non-profits on Climate Change mitigation and adaptation. Currently, she is working as a Designer at Cooper Robertson and Partners, an architecture and urban design firm located in New York City. In addition, she is also working with the RETI (Resilience, Education, Training, Innovation) Center as their Director of Operations on their newly initiated Rapid Resilience program. She is a fellow at the Urban Design Forum and a PAD Fellow at the Center for Urban Pedagogy.
