Gloria is the Director of the Reconnecting Communities Planning Unit at the New York City Department of Transportation. She is responsible for developing the agency’s approach to reducing highway- and arterial-related barriers in New York City communities to foster more connected, livable neighborhoods. She leads comprehensive corridor vision planning and capital project design for the Conduit Boulevard/Avenue, Cross Bronx Expressway, and BQE North and South corridors. Before joining the Department of Transportation, Gloria worked at the New York City Economic Development Corporation and began her career as a civil engineer.
