Erik Forman is currently focused on building on labor’s legacy of affordable housing development in New York City as a consultant for the AFL-CIO Housing Investment Trust. Previously, Erik co-created two large-scale worker cooperatives during the pandemic: The Drivers Cooperative and People’s Choice Communications. Erik was a leader in groundbreaking unionization campaigns in the US fast food industry, taught ESL and US History in NYC public schools, and trained union organizers across the world.
