Senior Transportation Planner

Emily Kennedy is a Senior Transportation Planner at TYLin, where she focuses on advancing safer, more equitable streets through bicycle, greenway, and multimodal infrastructure projects. Her work focuses on reimagining streets as safer, more equitable public spaces -- places that not only move people efficiently, but also support vibrant, connected communities. Emily brings a global perspective shaped by her experience as a Fulbright researcher and policy analyst in Buenos Aires, as well as work in Ireland and with the City of Philadelphia’s Office of Complete Streets. With a background in community organizing, she is deeply committed to embedding equity, resilience, and local voices into the planning process. Emily holds a BA from Providence College and a Master of City and Regional Planning from the University of Pennsylvania.
