Emendya Diaz is the Director of Community Development and Planning at Youth Ministries for Peace and Justice. She is fluent in Haitian Creole. She has extensive experience in Community Development, Homelessness and After-Care Services, Workforce Development, Family Self Sufficiency Programs and Economic Empowerment. Emendya has a Liberal Arts bachelor’s degree with concentration in Psychology and Education from York College, CUNY University and master’s degree in Community Economic Development from Southern New Hampshire University.
