Daniel Suckewer is a lifelong New Yorker, born and raised on the Upper West Side. After nine years working in commercial real estate, Daniel left the private sector to join the Real Estate Transactions (RETs) team at New York City's Economic Development Corporation in October 2022. As a Vice President on the RETs team, Daniel works on the disposition of City-owned land – managing public RFPs, negotiating with selected developers and partner agencies, and evaluating new sites for future projects. Daniel holds a bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University, where he majored in economics and history and minored in art history.
