Catherine is an urban planner, educator, and artist based in New York City. She is fascinated by how urban landscapes provide opportunities for resilience and expression. Catherine serves in NYC DOT’s Regional and Strategic Planning group within the Freight Mobility unit where she focuses on safety and sustainability concerns related to goods movement. She also creates nature inspired art. Catherine has prior experience both in open space advocacy as well as teaching college courses on urban gardens and farms.
