Christina Tang is a lighting designer and creative technologist based in NYC. She is a frequent collaborator on new works for theater and dance. As a creator, she is interested in technology’s ability to express – or elide – systems of labor and connection. Her design work has been seen at various theaters and event spaces in New York City; regionally in Boston, Rochester, and Denver; and internationally in South Korea, Cuba, and Edinburgh. She was a recipient of Opera America’s Robert L.B. Tobin Director-Designer Prize in 2021.
