Charlie Townsley is a Senior Project Manager in NYCEDC’s Neighborhood Strategies department, where he helps plan new neighborhoods, greenways, and public-realm improvements across New York City. Born in Chicago and raised on an organic farm, Charlie has long been interested in both the promise and the challenges of cities. Before joining NYCEDC, he studied equitable development in Philadelphia and worked as an architectural designer in Minneapolis.
