Charles Markham is a creative arts and culture program curator, community-building strategist, and artist dedicated to strengthening social cohesion and bridging the arts and social services. He holds a B.A. in Dance from Goucher College with a concentration in arts administration and choreography, with additional training and performance experience in the UK. With over a decade of nonprofit experience, Charles serves as Program Manager of Onsite & Special Programs at DOROT, overseeing 500+ annual programs that address social isolation and expand access to the arts. He develops strategic community partnerships & programs that foster lifelong learning, community building, and culturally relevant engagement. Charles is an alum of the American Society on Aging’s RISE Fellowship and the Urban Design Forum’s Forefront Fellowship program.
