Catherine (Cat) Betances (she/they) is a Program Manager at Urban Design Forum. She facilitates and manages the Forum’s Forefront Fellowship. Before this role, Cat was a 2021-22 Equitable Public Space Fellow at Design Trust. In addition to her passion for a more just built environment, Cat was a school-based and community-based educator for seven years in Oklahoma. Cat was born and raised on the unceded lands of the Delaware Tribe/Lenape people (the NYC metro area) and holds a B.A. from Smith College.
