Beth Carliner Pine is a Senior Architect at Empire State Development (ESD) on their Real Estate Development and Planning team where she manages design and construction initiatives for New York State on underutilized state-owned sites primarily for housing. Beth is motivated by the work at ESD because of its focus on tackling the housing crisis. She is also committed to bringing sustainable and resilient design to ESD’s developments. A major design factor for these developments is their connection to a larger transportation network. Beth is excited to explore opportunities to reimagine transportation access to create safer and more enjoyable connections throughout the city.
