Anne Krassner is an urban planner who believes transportation is about more than getting from place to place—it is about creating opportunity, independence, and a sense of belonging. She currently serves as Deputy Director for Mobility Management at the New York City Department of Transportation, where she leads initiatives that advance equitable and accessible transportation for older adults, people with disabilities, low-income New Yorkers, and communities with limited English proficiency. Throughout her career, Anne has worked across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, including leadership roles at NYC DOT, Lyft, Citi Bike, and transportation projects in Brazil. Her work is driven by a commitment to equity and a belief community power can effect systemic change. She is passionate about building partnerships, working with communities, and riding her bike around NYC.
