Chip Perro is a Program Manager in the Planning Unit at New York City Emergency Management (NYCEM), where she works on citywide preparedness initiatives and supports activations as a Transportation, Utilities, and Infrastructure Emergency Support Function Coordinator. Chip holds an MSc in City Design & Social Science from the London School of Economics, where her research examined emergency preparedness in underground transit systems. She also received a Certificate in Horticulture from the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, driven by an ongoing interest in street trees and the role of green spaces in urban resilience.
