Alexa Sunshine Mendel is a native New Yorker passionate about affordable housing and community development. With a Bachelor of Arts from Washington University in St. Louis, she majored in Political Science and Marketing and minored in Architecture. Alexa has several years of experience in affordable housing finance, currently serving as a Project Manager at Huntington Bank, where she has underwritten tax credit investments and construction loans for projects across the country. She has previously worked with the National Equity Fund and has held various internships in government and real estate across New York City.
