Alex heads the Real Estate Division of the Life Sciences team at Empire State Development, where he leads complex, public-private real estate initiatives. His work sits at the intersection of urban policy, large-scale development, and economic strategy, advancing high-impact projects. He previously worked at RXR overseeing both horizontal and ground-up development of mixed-use multifamily projects. He has also worked extensively on NYC and State policy affecting the real estate industry, while at REBNY advising executive leadership on matters pertaining to ownership, management, and development. Alex served as a member of the NYC Managing Committees on Construction, Electrical, and Existing Building Codes. He was also a member of the Real Estate Development Working Group for the Business Council of Westchester and served on the City of New Rochelle Retail Task Force. Additionally, he is a member of the Westchester Parks Foundation’s Emerging Leaders Council. He holds an MSc from the London School of Economics and BA from Duke University.
