Adán Soltren Esq. is a Supervising Attorney with the Housing Justice Unit—Group Advocacy project at Legal Aid Society. Adán and his team specialize in New York housing law and provide high quality legal services to tenant associations and groups of low-income tenants throughout Manhattan. Adán works with local elected officials, community-based organizations, and tenants to advocate for housing policy changes and legal reform to preserve long standing communities and improve the quality of New York’s housing stock. For the past three years, Adán has served on NYC’s Rent Guidelines Board (RGB) as a tenant representative, where he works with coalitions and stakeholders to advocate for affordable rent increases for NYC’s 3 million rent regulated tenants.
