Waldheim’s book Landscape as Urbanism: A General Theory presents the case for looking at the city through landscape. The book is praised as “timely and fascinating” by Jonathan Kendall, a judge for the National Urban Design Awards, who continues: “A compelling overview of internationally-recognised urbanists, landscape architects and architects whose practices share a common underpinning in their relationship to nature and ecological systems in the broadest sense.”
