On February 10, Daniel and Joanna S. Rose, Alex Garvin and the Urban Design Forum invite guests to honor Charlie Duff on the publication of The North Atlantic Cities.

In this publication, Charlie set out to understand why cities from Amsterdam to London to Washington built cities with row houses, while others like Minneapolis and Paris did not. Charlie takes readers from Holland in the 1600s to the US, Ireland and the Netherlands at present. He traces the history of North Atlantic cities to understand the things we take for granted today: parks, mass transit, downtowns and suburbia.

Cocktails and canapés will be served, and books will be available for signing.
