Arun Sundararajan describes the deleterious effects of automation on the workforce in developing nations like Bangladesh, Thailand and Vietnam.

“Automation is going to gulp up a lot of the jobs where China, Thailand, Vietnam and Bangladesh have historically relied heavily on certain professions to employ unskilled people. On the other hand, because of the digital market, you can find good plumbers, who were historically expensive in the US.” – Arun Sundararajan
